This project focuses on the reuse and reclamation of existing landscapes, such as the ruins of an old town or a post-mining quarry. The design investigations explore how such reclamation can be achieved through the insertion of soft programmes or art installations, while simultaneously retaining the original characteristics of the sites.

Before and after drawings illustrate the proposed design interventions of the masterplan for Gibellina.
